1 in 5 want Taoiseach Micheál Martin

To complete our General Election coverage, we asked 1,000 Irish people the question media organisations and political commentators have been asking all week.

Who would you like to see as the next Taoiseach?

With the election results providing no clear party winner or Government, the Irish people are also divided on who should lead the coalition. However, what is evident from our data is Micheál Martin is the clear winner for Fianna Fail followers compared to Enda Kenny who's Fine Gael supporters are split between him, Leo Varadkar and Simon Coveney

People suggested some alternative leaders including Bosco, Dustin the Turkey and of course, Kanye West. Also, polling in the top ten suggestions, Conor McGregor was popular. It seems that a percentage of the population agrees with one voter in Dublin West.

So when TDS decide to vote on the leader of a new Government, will they follow the Irish people or could we see a rotating leadership in the future.
